Examples of Bespoke Albums

Royal Air Force

The album supplied was entirely hand-made and supplied as Refillable Post Bound Album.

Its dimensions are a massive 670 x 530 mm, in excess of 1/2 metre top to bottom. We used a Bonded Leather (recycled leather) and padded the interior of the cover for a superior feel and finish.

The squadron crests was gold blocked onto the front cover. The squadron crest artwork was supplied to us as a simple line drawing pdf file from which we produced a brass blocking die which measured approximately 23cms in height and width.

The artwork is seen on the left below. The blocking on the right (not to scale so not as clear as in real life).

Lee-on-Solent Golf Club

Lee-on-the-Solent Golf Club recently took delivery of a Heritage Photo Album in order to list the winners of some Senior section trophies that are being replaced. Peter Miles, the Seniors Honorary Secretary, said 'we wanted to preserve the names of past winners when the actual 'pot' was fazed-out and stored away without going to the expense of large wooden Honours Boards on the walls of the club.

The album is a high grade recycled leather, self adhesive paged book in a Burgundy colour. Embossed on the front with the Clubs name and title in gold lettering it really looks the 'bees knees'.

It will sit in our trophy cabinet alongside the other gleaming silverware for many years to come, and will not look out of place at all. The album was passed over to the Seniors Captain, Les Taylor, by the Club Manager.

A Tweed Covered Photo Album

What could be appropriate than a photo album covered in genuine Scottish tweed for our customer who had enjoyed a holiday in Scotland the year before and wanted to store their photograph's in something suitable. The customer sent us some tweed to see if we could we make a photo album for them.

Before committing to making the album the customer obtained a small sample of the material and sent this to us at our bindery. On inspection it was found to be suitable and the album was made and duly delivered to our delighted customer.
